Five or Free Electrical Solutions Inc. is currently seeking to hire enthusiastic, highly motivated people for our electrical trainee position(s). Trainees work under the supervision of a qualified journeyman electrician and no experience is necessary, all training is provided on the job; however active enrollment & completion of a ET program is required in order to progress in the company. Basic Standards
- Pass a Drug Test (including marijuana)
- Strong work ethic
- Be willing to travel to job site in personal vehicle until you earn your own truck
- Have a neat, clean, presentable appearance
- Practice safety on job sites every day
- Follow company standards, policies, and procedures
- Learn to leverage & utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software properly
- Be reliable and make it to work every day
- Enthusiasm to learn new skills
- Quickly learn how to use basic tools associated with electrical work
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment in effort to be as efficient as possible on the job
- Ability to work as part of a team and develop positive working relationships with Journeyman and peers
- Learn & follow State and local building regulations based on the National Electrical Code
Example of Job Tasks (Not comprehensive)
- Read and understand basic electrical site plans and terminology
- Cutting holes for electrical devices and fixtures in an efficient manner
- Run / staple residential wiring in attics, crawl spaces, and on wooden framing
- Run Romex wiring in a residential setting
- Bending conduit using a conduit bender at precise angles
- Pull wire through conduits and holes in the walls and floors
- Trenching (both manual and operating a trencher) for laying conduit
- Maintain a clean and orderly worksite & truck

Compensation: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
