Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Operations Administrator to join our team. In this role, you assist the operations manager by optimizing systems and processes of our company, maximizing efficiency and profitability while remaining compliant with all legal and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate has an analytical mind, a deep understanding of business and financial principles, and a proven track record as an Operations Administrator. 

Responsibilities 

  • Oversee all operational aspects of the business
  • Create strategic and operational goals and objectives
  • Implement systems, processes, and procedures to increase efficiency and profitability
  • Oversee warehouse operations and inventory control
  • Ensure the organization is compliant with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements
  • Examine financial data and budgets and create financial forecasts
  • Set and monitor key performance indicators
Qualifications

  • Industry Experience:
    1. Ideally 3+ years in a leadership role within a home service industry (e.g., electrical, HVAC, plumbing) or 3+ years corporation leadership.
    2. Hands-on experience managing field technicians and service delivery or some aspect of corporation management.
  • Operational Expertise:
    1. Knowledge of scheduling, dispatching, and routing best practices.
    2. Familiarity with inventory management for tools, parts, and equipment.
    3. Proficiency in using ServiceTitan or similar field service management software.
  • Customer Service Skills:
    1. Proven ability to handle escalations and customer complaints.
    2. Strong focus on customer satisfaction and retention strategies.
  • Leadership & Team Management:
    1. Experience hiring, training, and managing field and office staff.
    2. Strong coaching and mentoring abilities.
    3. Conflict resolution and performance management skills.
  • Financial Acumen:
    1. Understanding of budgets, profit margins, and KPIs.
    2. Ability to analyze P&L statements and make data-driven decisions.
  • Project Management:
    1. Familiarity with permitting processes and compliance requirements.
    2. Proven ability to manage multiple ongoing projects efficiently.
  • Technical Knowledge:
    1. Basic understanding of the services offered (electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, etc.).
    2. Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical staff and customers.
  • Education
    • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
    • Acceptable: Relevant industry certifications or equivalent work experience.
  • Tools & Technology
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
    • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools.
    • Comfortable with reporting and analytics tools (e.g., Looker Studio, QuickBooks).
  • Soft Skills
    1. Organization & Time Management:
      • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate effectively.
    2. Problem-Solving:
      • Analytical mindset for troubleshooting operational issues.
    3. Communication:
      • Clear and professional verbal and written communication.
    4. Adaptability:
      • Ability to adjust to changing priorities and challenges in a fast-paced environment.
    5. Decision-Making:
      • Confidence in making decisions under pressure.
  • Certifications
    • Service Titan Certified Administrator certification is a plus.
    • Leadership or management training certifications.
    • Industry-specific technical certifications is a plus (e.g., HVAC, Electrical Licenses).
Compensation: $70,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
